if you are an avid watcher of "her" show it would be a great idea to STOP watching her. Brian studied for about 5 hours yesterday on this "teacher" that "she" has on her show every monday. it is anti-christ teaching.
Below is an e-mail that i received last week. i didn't read it but brian had gotten the same one and he walked into my office yesterday angry over the things that he had read. this is all TRUE...............
Folks, I looked on Oprah's web-site and with a little searching, I did indeed find all that is said below to be true. This is one of the most dangerous things for our country and even the world because of her vast following and influence. If you are a believer of the God of the Bible, you really need to read the following.
You really need to read this 'Oprah and Friends' to teach course on New Age Christ.
Many of you, like me, have probably been Oprah fans for a long time. This is very discouraging news to hear about one who has such tremendous influence on the general public. Please ask God to show Oprah the real Jesus Christ.

Those who finish the Course will have a wholly redefined spiritual mindset-a New Age worldview that include the beliefs that there is no sin, no evil, no devil. A Course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God and life, and, bluntly states: 'This is a course in mind training' and is dedicated to 'thought reversal.'
The Course in Miracles -in reality-is the truth of the Bible turned upside down. Oprah told her television audience that Williamson's book, A Course in Miracles was one of her favorite books, and that she had already bought a thousand copies and would be handing them out to everyone in her studio audience. Oprah's endorsement skyrocketed Williamson's book to the top of the New York Times bestseller list .
A Course in Miracles is allegedly a 'new revelation' from 'Jesus' to help humanity work through these troubled times. This 'Jesus'-who bears no doctrinal resemblance to the Bible's Jesus Christ-began delivering channeled teachings in 1965 to a Columbia University Professor of Medical Psychology, Helen Schucman.
One day Schucman heard an 'inner voice' stating, 'This is a course in miracles. Please take notes.' For seven years she diligently took spiritual dictation from this voice that described himself as 'Jesus.'

oprah is evil!

I don't think Oprah is evil (but I know what you are trying to say). I think she is under major attack by Satan and his followers merely b/c of her widespread following and admiration and potential influence. Satan is the great deceiver and boy is she being deceived.
They don't care about her. They only care about her influence. They are using her.
I think we all need to pray for Oprah and that she can recognize how she is being used by Satan and these various guests she has been having on her show.
I personally have not watched any of it b/c I only watch things like make-overs and how to make your butt look good in jeans. But I have skimmed over her web-site and it is all, unfortunately, true.
Over many years of watching her show I have heard her claim to read her bible, to pray, to speak out to God in desperation. I don't think she was lying. As her show, her fame, and her popularity grew, I noticed the major theme of new age creeping in slowly, but surely.
Maybe we should have been praying for her long ago. I, honestly, don't know of anyone who is more followed, respected, adored, and idolized by their fans. These "anti-Christ" teachers are no fools. They mustered up the perfect plan.
I also think of Billy Graham. He may just be close in the running for having a mass following of enamored fans. (not including rock-stars)
I do believe Oprah's faith was there, but not strong. What I mean by that is that I know she believed in God and that the bible was from God. I know she believed God heard her prayers and that she felt a spiritual connection with the one true God. I have no idea if she was a Christian. But, it always seemed she was still searching for that "something" to fill the holes in her life...she has many. She opened herself up to all of this.
And so she became the perfect target.
This is just me reeling over all of this. I am just as confused and disappointed as the rest of us.
Wouldn't it be great if we, as Christians, overcame these people turning Oprah and her influence into one filled with the love and truth of our one true God who made the ultimate sacrifice of his Son who DID die for a real reason...to save us from our SINFUL and unworthy selves.
