inches not pounds!

i've been loosing inches more than pounds. i am now able to wear my shirts comfortably w/out a jacket to cover up the rolls:) i can wear my jeans more comfortably too. just a little frustrated that the pounds aren't coming off. i'm committing to ride my bike more than i have been. anyway, that's my "weigh down" update.

Lots of comments here...

First of all, very well said by Connie about the Oprah thing...totally agree. Also LOVE reading her comments...she cracks me up as much as you do. She's hilarious.

Secondly, such a cute story about Mattie and Justin and the nursery. That's awesome that she isn't trying to be so grown up or anything that she can't still be herself. Super cute and great job in the mama dept.

Thirdly, that is so stinkin' awesome about your inches. And you have lost some great poundage too according to your ticker there, so I'm really impressed. Hopefully I won't be too far behind you...in a few weeks that is. I'm not rushing it for sure. I'm going to enjoy my baby and my comfort foods for a while. :)

Alright, that's it. I know, I know...I promise to add some recipes soon. But, I still need the password...email me. Thanks.

Good job on the pounds and the inches. I understand the frustration about the lbs. Last year before I was pregnant I was running a lot and doing a lot of aerobics, but I only lost 3 lbs and all my clothes started fitting better, without the tummy rolls like you said. I didn't give it enough time and I didn't give up my comfort foods enough like Michawn was talking about. You are changing your body shape for the better, it sounds like! I bet that feels great and I can't wait to feel good enough to slim up my waist and make my legs feel stronger with exercise.

And I'm waiting a couple more days to do something online for exercising the 100 miles. I want to see how many people will do it with me. I think you'll get yours really fast with biking! I wish I had a treadmill in our house. I like walking or running better than biking, and I get it done more often when I don't have to go outside. I'm a wimp about extreme hot or cold weather!

I'd like to do the recipe blog. I can't promise lots of great recipes, but I have a few that our family loves, and they're simple/easy, not gourmet if that's okay.

Steph, I don't have your email. I made a blog for our 100 miles. I loved the ticker you found and I'll be using it on the blog to show my miles. That's so cool. Anyway, my email is johanamanda@gmail.com. Easy to remember, so email me your email address so I can invite you to be an author on the blog.

Thanks and congratulations on getting started with tracking your miles!
