Cali was great!

i need to get our pictures off of my friend, Suzanne's camara, but here's a run down of activities...

Suzanne (the pastors wife) and i shopped from early in the morning till late in the afternoon. We (all 4 of us) at at Venice Beach on Tuesday evening...if you remember the tv show "threes company" venice beach is where they filmed the opening of the show...where jack falls in the sand b/c he's makin' google eyes at scantily clad girls. It's known for body buiders working out on the beach, beach goers in swimsuites roller blading down the sidewalk, and freak shows. We went there in the evening so the only feak show we saw was a guy that had made a hat out of an entire doll house. funny.

Suzanne and I got mani/pedi's and shopped more on Wednesday. then we (all 4 of us) ate beachside at Laguna Beach that evening.

Thursday and Friday...Strolled along Hollywood Blvd, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Blvd., saw the infamous "HOLLYWOOD" sign, brian bought some vintage shirts on Sunset blvd., saw the second Narnia on Hollywood Blvd in the El Capitan Theatre"...very cool dome shaped w/ intricate decor, met Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron while they were witnessing to passerbys...Ray was having a pretty heated discussion w/ a lesbian then w/ two other girls that came back to talk to him b/c they didn't like what he had said to them. Ray was awesome...very friendly and really cool. Kirk was nice enough. he was there to evangilize and we were takin' up his time. but HELLO you can't be a tv "star" and be standing in downtown HOLLYWOOD and not expect to be noticed. We also visited the Farmers Market.

Oh and Brian and the pastor had a great time at the conference. They got to see Brock and meet Kyle Loza...X Games motorcycle guy. and meet Rick the pastor from Saddleback.

oh yeah and suzanne and i met Jason Castro in the LAX airport...just sittin' there minding his own business till a couple of "old ladies" came and acted like a couple of teeny boppers. picture this.......here's snippet of our convo. "Jason Castro is around the corner over there" i sneak a peak around the corner, see him, run back to Suzanne, she does the same, she says, "go take his picture" i say, "no you your better at that" blah blah blah. finally the poor guy gets up and is walking toward us probably trying to get away from these psycho "middle age" women goin' gaga over him, suzanne asks if we can take a picture he's like sure, she's talking to him and i'm just standing there staring at him. i don't say anything. i just take the picture and then he leaves. noone was talking to him or anything. weird. he was nice enough.

oh and i didn't say anything to Kirk Cameron is just stared at him too. he still looks like Mike Seaver....shorter curls though.
anywoo, that's what we did, where we ate, and who we saw. pictures to come!!

I'm so jealous! Kirk Cameron was my first crush. :) And, I hate to write this publicly, but I was a Jason Castro fan this season, too. He's a cutey.
