Well, it's not lookin good. Keep New Orleans in your prayers. Keep louisiana in your prayers and as you can see by the map much of texas too. seeing as though all of my readers, minus michawn and auny- of course they have family in both states, live in louisiana and texas we can all pray for each other.

yep...praying. i have family in south louisiana too...they evacuated to saline. hopefully their belongings will be spared.
I don't know for sure where in LA you are, and I'm not sure its going to be any better here than there, but we have a guest room if you need it!
I got your message earlier but was in the middle of running errands. I couldn't believe you called! Not that I ever call, but it was exciting to get a phone call from you. As the night went on I forgot to call you back. Sorry Charlie. Aren't you in northern LA? Is everything ok there? If I'm remembering correctly where you are, you must be getting heavy wind and rain???? You are on the east side of the eye right? It should hit here tomorrow and rain for several days. Bummer. Anyway, let me know you are ok and let's talk soon. Tomorrow maybe. I have my lifegroup in the am, lunch with friends, and then doc appt. at 2:30.
