that's pretty much what i've been doing this week! Sue, my mominlaw, has the kids for a few days and i've totally taken advantage of this time! it's sooo much easier to clean and organize w/out having to go behind and clean up after the kids.
anywoo, brian and i have gotten to just chill in the evenings and watch movies...and not disney, spongebob, icarly, drake/josh! aaahh so nice.
when they get back, mattie starts her first 1/2 day of 1st grade on friday and my family comes in for ryder's 3rd birthday party that'll be on saturday! that's why i've been cleaning:) new bed times start thursday night...can't wait. i know all my friends already have their kids bedtimes set but things have been a little crazy the past 1 1/2 years. by the time we would get home, we'd want to spend as much time as we could w/ each other so that would lead to late bedtimes. it'll be a different story now:)
better get back to cleanin! oh gotta put my next movie in...

Getting to clean your house without kids going behind you pulling it all back out?? What's that like???
How nice to get a few days of grown-up time with just your hubby, watching non-Disney movies.... Enjoy it!!
Must be nice to have a mominlaw who will watch your kids for 3 days! Wow!!!!! Don't take that for granted!!! We are having fun watching the Olympics too...
Wow! I find it so difficult to be motivated to clean when the kids are gone. Unless of course I'm moving or surprising them with painted rooms or something!

We started an early bedtime for our oldest, but this little one things 1AM is her bedtime!!! ahhh:-) I know, in time - I'll miss her beings so small, can't talk, can't make a mess and doesn't dirty dishes! I LOVE CLEANING without children and even husband around!!!
